Tilza Castillo
EMDR-Trained ClinicianHi! I’m Tilza Castillo, ACSW, a dedicated psychotherapist and trauma-informed clinician who believes true healing happens when we address the whole self—mind, body, and spirit. As a first-generation Guatemalan American raised in East Hollywood alongside my parents and siblings, my worldview has always been shaped by deep community roots, resilience, and cultural understanding. Growing up navigating dual worlds taught me the profound value of holding space for others. Today, I bring that same compassion and bilingual fluency (Spanish/English) to my practice, ensuring that every individual feels truly seen, heard, and welcomed in a safe space.
My clinical approach is grounded in cutting-edge, neuroscience-backed modalities designed to help your nervous system settle and reset. As an EMDR-trained and Neurofeedback-trained clinician, I specialize in moving past traditional talk therapy to help clients process deep-seated trauma, chronic stress, and anxiety at the neurological level.
At Zen and Health, we recognize that mental health is deeply intertwined with holistic well-being. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from California State University, Long Beach (CSULB), where I developed a comprehensive framework for supporting individuals through life transitions, identity exploration, and emotional burnout.
Taking the first step toward therapy takes courage, but you don't have to navigate it alone. Whether you are seeking relief from past trauma, looking to regulate your nervous system, or simply needing a compassionate listener who understands your unique background, I am here to walk alongside you.
