Monica Juarez
Associate Clinical Social Worker | EMDR Trained ClinicianMonica Juarez is a compassionate, bilingual Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW) at Zen and Health, dedicated to offering inclusive, culturally responsive mental health care in both English and Spanish. She believes that therapy should be a safe harbor where clients feel truly seen, heard, and supported in their native language. Guided by an empathetic, client-centered approach, Monica partners with individuals from all walks of life to help them navigate profound life challenges, build emotional resilience, and reclaim a sense of agency over their lives.
As an EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) trained clinician, Monica integrates trauma-focused care with a variety of other evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to each client's unique needs. Through EMDR, she guides clients in safely reprocessing distressing memories, relieving somatic tension, and breaking free from deep-rooted negative belief systems.
My clinical approach is grounded in cutting-edge, neuroscience-backed modalities designed to help your nervous system settle and reset. As an EMDR-trained and Neurofeedback-trained clinician, I specialize in moving past traditional talk therapy to help clients process deep-seated trauma, chronic stress, and anxiety at the neurological level.
Taking the first step toward therapy takes courage, but you don't have to navigate it alone. Whether you are seeking relief from past trauma, looking to regulate your nervous system, or simply needing a compassionate listener who understands your unique background, I am here to walk alongside you.
